The State has begun using an online application process that will speed up your CHL licensing process greatly. If you will go to the DPS site, fill out all the application information and pay for the background check, they will issue you a barcode sheet which you will bring to class. You will eliminate almost all of the paper work in the classroom and the electronic forms on the state site assure all items are answered prior to you logging off. After the application is complete the State will issue you a number to schedule your digital fingerprints at FastPrint. Schedule an appointment online. The print process only takes about ten minutes and FastPrint will digitally send your prints to the state. We highly recommend this method. Click the link below.
